Some frequently asked questions about the H721-OT model:
#1 - Is this model made in a version with a thumb break for added retention?
Yes, it is and that model is called the Don Hume H721-TB. It's the exact same holster model with an added thumb break. You can read more about that model by following this link.
#2 - What's a "bodyshield"?
A bodyshield is part of the holster that offers a protective barrier between you and the weapon. They vary holster model to model. If you aren't sure about any other holster related terms used in the description above, consider having a look at our list of commonly used gun holster definitions.
#3 - Can I still get a good grip on the handgun with a bodyshield?
Absolutely. The bodyshield is designed for added comfort and won't interfere with the draw or grip in any way.
#4 - If I was interested, could I also wear this holster as a cross draw holster?
Unfortunately, no as the cant angle is wrong. This holster is designed to be worn on the strongside of the belt. Using clock terminology, this would be the 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, or 4 o'clock positions on the waist.

The Exact Design I Was Looking For.
I had purchased another brand of concealed carry holster for my Hellcat, but I wasn't happy with the bulk of it. I wanted something that would hug my body tight, but not allow the rear of the slide to dig into my side. The Don Hume H721-OT looked to be what I was looking for, and it turned out to be perfect. Like all Don Hume holsters, this one was very, very tight to start with, but after treating the holster with KG-9 to make it slick inside, and wearing it around the house for a couple of days, it's now a perfect fit. It's so comfortable that I sometimes forget I've got it on.

Fits perfect
Ordered one for my colt detective special. I’ve ordered different brands in the past. Some were ill fitting or if they did fit they flopped around. This one fits prefect, well made and delivery was as promised. I’m now going to order one for my S&W Shield.

Hands down my favorite
Like most of you reading this I’ve bought dozens of holsters and did nothing but waste tons of money (on most of them). Everything from IWB, paddle, ankle, shoulder, and pancake, even the popular Alien Gear, Crossbreed, and Sticky Holsters. Kydex and leather, cheap and expensive, you get the point. I learned about Don Hume from watching HICKOK45 on YouTube, purchased an H721O.T. For a Glock 19 years ago and loved it immediately and still use it to this day. Now I’ve got another H721 open top for my EDC Sig P365 and it’s the bee’s knee’s! I’m 6’5” 215lbs and this is by far the most comfortable holster I’ve ever used and still conceals very easily! I live in south eastern Illinois if you want to compare climates, the G19 is hard to pull off in the summer but rest of the year it’s not a problem, and I don’t anticipate having any problems concealing with the P365, the holster barely goes beneath my belt with that small of a pistol. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone! Also gunnersalley.com had the lowest price when I was shopping for it.

Slim Fit
Wanted minimalist holster. Not 14/" thick cowhide bulky holster for my 1911. Fits prefect, draws smooth.
