Introduced in May of 2022, the APX A1 FS (Fullsize) pistol was designed as an upgraded version of the original APX Fullsize handgun and also as a replacement.
The APX A1 pistol offered the following upgraded options:
From a length and size perspective, the APX A1 FS model is the same length and width as the original APX FS model.
From a gun holster perspective, our most popular sellers are OWB and belt holster models. The overall size of the FS model (with an overall length of 7.5 inches) makes it more challenging for concealed carry. That being said, we do have some customers who carry the APX A1 FS handgun in an IWB holster.
Another popular holster option for this Beretta pistol includes paddle holsters and cross draw holsters. The paddle style is popular because it is easier to put on and take off than a traditional belt holster. The crossdraw holster style is a popular option for those wanting a holster that works while seated in a vehicle.
In addition to the holster options that we carry for this pistol, we also carry several magazine carrier options for it as well.
Here are some commonly asked questions that we see about holsters for the Beretta APX A1 full size handgun:
Our testing has indicated that the A1 FS version will fit into a holster made for the original APX FS pistol, but it’s not a very good fit. Here’s why: the 1st generation of the APX pistols featured raised points that were built into the slide frame to assist with grip and slide manipulation. However, the newer A1 versions do not have those same raised points on the slide. This makes the holster fit loose and sloppy for an A1 FS pistol inserted into a 1st generation APX FS holster.
Any of the gun holster models pistured below are available in a version to fit the Beretta APX A1 Full Size pistol.
