    • Canik Mete SF

    The Canik Mete SF pistol was introduced in August of 2021 and is considered a compact, striker-fired model within the Canik Mete pistol series. The Mete SF was originally designed for the Turkish Special Forces and is an evolution of the Canik TP9 pistol series.

    Canik classifies the Mete SF as a “Compact” model, even though it has a 4.19 barrel and an overall length of 7.28”. Like most Mete pistol series, the SF model features a polymer frame mated to a steel slide.

    The Mete SF is optic-ready and compatible with almost all the popular red dot optics. It ships with four optic plates designed to fit most optic footprints on the market.

    Chambered only in 9mm, the SF features a 15+1 capacity, using 15 round magazines. In addition, the Mete SF features an ambidextrous slide stop/slide release lever and reversible magazine release.

    From a gun holster standpoint, our top-selling holster styles are a mix of outside the waistband and inside the waistband. We sell more OWB holsters than IWB models, which makes sense, given the size of the Mete SF.

    We are not saying that the Mete SF cannot be carried IWB; it’s just on the slightly larger side for IWB carry.

    Here are some commonly asked questions that we see regarding holsters for the Canik Mete SF pistol:

    The Mete SF and Glock 19 look to be the same size. Will the Mete SF fit in a holster made for a Glock 19?

    While both pistols are somewhat similar, they have very different dimensions. As such, a Canik Mete SF will not fit into a holster made for a G19.

    I mounted a Leupold Delta Point red dot on my Mete SF. Do you have a holster that can fit the pistol with the optic mounted?

    Any of the leather gun holster models displayed below are available in a configuration to fit a Mete SF with most any red dot optic mounted on top of the slide. This includes the OWB and IWB holsters listed below.

    To ensure the proper fit: during the ordering process, you’ll need to add a red dot cutaway option on the order so the red dot fits properly into the holster.

    Can you recommend an IWB holster for a Mete SF with a red dot mounted?
