    • Canik Mete SFX

    Canik introduced the METE SFX in August of 2021, along with several other pistol models within the Mete line. Canik markets the Mete SFX as a full-size, striker-fired handgun for self-defense, range use, or competition.

    The Mete SFX features a 5.2” barrel, so the pistol has an overall length of 8.3”. This pistol comes optic-ready to accommodate most red dot brands and models. In addition, the SFX features an integrated Picatinny rail for easy mounting of weapon lights or lasers.

    Like most all the Mete pistols, the SFX is equipped with an improved factory trigger that some argue is the best striker-fired factory trigger on the market. In addition, this model also features improved ergonomic features like an integrated flared mag well, double undercut trigger guard, and enhanced beavertail.

    The Mete SFX is only available in 9mm and comes with 18-round and 20-round magazines. This model features a polymer frame mated to a steel upper slide. Even with the lightweight polymer frame, this pistol still weighs in at nearly 2 lbs unloaded and well over 2 lbs when fully loaded.

    The Mete SFX is also equipped with some nice features, such as:

    • A loaded chamber indicator
    • Cocked Striker Status indicator
    • Ambidextrous slide release/slide stop

    Since the Mete SFX is a full-size pistol, our top-selling holster options for this handgun are outside the waistband models (OWB holsters). We sell very few IWB holster options, but the majority of holsters we sell for this handgun are various OWB models.

    Do you have a Canik Mete SFX holster with light?

    Any of the MTR Custom leather holsters shown below are available in a version that fits a Canik Mete SFX pistol with certain weapon lights mounted. The light brands that are supported include:

    • Olight
    • Surefire lights
    • Streamlight lights

    Currently, these are the only light brands that are supported.

    Do you offer a holster to fit a Canik Mete SFX with a red dot mounted?

    Yes. Any gun holster model displayed below can be ordered in a configuration to fit a Mete SFX with a red dot optic mounted on top of the slide.

    In those situations, you must add the “RMR Cutaway” option to the order so the red dot fits into the holster correctly.

    Can you direct me to a double magazine carrier for the Canik Mete SFX?

    Any of the double magazine carrier options displayed below can be ordered in a configuration that fits the Canik Mete SFX magazines.
