    • Canik SFX Rival

    Introduced in January of 2022, the SFX Rival is a full-size pistol designed for competitive shooting disciplines like IDPA, IPSC, and USPSA.

    The SFX Rival is chambered in 9mm and features a 5-inch barrel. Like most Canik pistol lines, this model utilizes a polymer frame mated to a steel slide.

    This pistol is optic-ready and comes with four optic plate options designed to work with most of the popular red dot optics on the market.

    As this is a competition pistol, Canik designed it with a reduced pull weight trigger that is exceptionally good for a factory trigger. This pistol is also equipped with adjustable grip size, ambi slide release and magazine release, and a fiber optic front sight. The SFX Rival has two 18-round magazines for a total capacity of 18+1.

    One common challenge that we see involves customers shopping for a holster to fit their SFX Rival with a weapon light or tactical light mounted on the Picatinny rail.

    We offer a possible solution as most of the MTR Custom holsters displayed below are available in a configuration to fit an SFX Rival with a light mounted. However, the light brands supported are limited to the following brands:

    Do you offer a competition holster made for the Canik SFX Rival?

    We offer several gun holster styles for the SFX Rival pistol, but not any specifically designed for “competition.”

    Will the SFX Rival fit in a holster made for the Mete SFX Pro?

    Although the SFX Rival and Mete SFX Pro are very similar, they are different dimensionally, so that the SFX Rival won’t fit into a gun holster made for the Canik Mete SFX Pro.

    Do you offer a holster that fits the Canik SFX Rival with a red dot optic mounted?

    Nearly all of the leather holster models shown below can be ordered in a configuration to fit the SFX Rival pistol with a red dot optic mounted on top of the slide.

    Any holster model or style displayed below is available to fit the Canik SFX Rival pistol.
