    Canik introduced the TP9SF Elite pistol at the 2017 SHOT show. This Canik pistol is a premium variation of the standard TP9SF pistol series, although it is slightly smaller than the standard TPSF models.

    The Elite version has the following upgrades or changes compared to the traditional Canik TPSF9 models:

    • A slightly shorter 4.19” barrel
    • Ergonomic grip with shortened size compared to previous TP series models
    • Upgraded trigger (Canik labels it a Premium trigger).
    • Closed striker cover mechanism
    • Ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release
    • Warren Tactical fiber optic front sight and blacked-out U-notch rear sight

    The Elite was a game-changer for Canik as it proved to be exceptionally popular, and helped establish Canik as up and coming firearms manufacturer.

    Holsters for the Canik TP9SF Elite Handgun

    With the reduced barrel length and shorter grip, the Elite model is almost the same size as the Glock 19. This slightly smaller footprint means the Elite is a more popular option for CCW than the somewhat larger TP9 pistols.

    Like most popular handguns with a Picatinny rail, the Elite is a popular option for weapon lights, so we routinely have customers interested in a gun holster that will fit the Elite with a tactical light mounted.

    Nearly all the gun holsters shown below are available in a configuration to fit the TP9SF Elite with a mainstream weapon light mounted. The most popular weapon light brands that can be accommodated include Streamlight, Surefire, and OLight.

    Will the TP9 SF Elite handgun fit into a holster made for the TP9SF?

    Although the Elite version is slightly smaller, it will fit into a holster made for the TP9SF pistols. However, since the Elite has a shorter barrel, there will be some empty space at the end of the holster.

    Where can I find magazine carriers for a TP9 SF Elite?

    Any leather mag carriers listed below are available in a version to fit a TP9Sf Elite 15-round magazine.

    Do you offer a holster for a TP9SF Elite pistol with a Crimson Trace CMR-206 attached?

    Any of the holster models displayed below can be configured to fit the Elite with a CMR-206 mounted.

    For additional retention, we recommend a holster with a thumb break. An optional thumb break can be added to any MTR Custom holster pictured below.
