Some frequently asked questions about this model:
#1 - I understand the part about choosing a shooting hand, but which ankle should the holster go on?
While you can technically wear the holster on either ankle, no matter what shooting hand you choose, the general recommendation is to wear it on the ankle of the shooting hand. However, I'd experiment with it a bit as I preferred to carry an ankle on the inside ankle of the weak shooting hand. So, even though I'm a right handed shooter, I preferred to carry my ankle holster on the inside of my left leg.
#2 - It looks like Don Hume makes two different ankle holster models: this one and the H760 model. What's the difference between the two?
They are nearly identical except for the material used to attach the holster to the ankle. The Ankle Safe uses a neoprene material while the H760 uses a cowhide backing with velcro.
#3 - Will this model work for revolvers that are both hammered and hammerless or shrouded?
Yes, it will. The thumb break is designed to fit both hammered or hammerless revolver models like the S&W J frame or Taurus 85.

Very Well-Made-Delivery was not good.
This is a great ankle holster. It fits my S&W Model 60 very well. Unfortunately, and NOT the fault of Gunner's Alley it took forever and a day to receive it. (About 6 weeks) The folks of Gunner's Alley were great checking on the order by the way. In today's world it's hard to believe that it takes that long for a company to make and ship a holster. In my 30 years as a cop I never waited more than a week for a piece of leathergoods to arrive. It is probably worth the wait.

Great Ankle Holster
Good fit - have not had to use the upper support piece since the neoprene keeps it tight around my ankle. The sheep wool is very comfortable. I can carry this all day without any fatigue.
