Product Description
Another variation of the popular H715M W/C inside the waistband model, the H715M SOOT or MSO as it's sometimes called is an inside the waistband (IWB) holster that attaches to the belt using 2 leather snap-on loops. Like the standard H715M, the snap-on SOOT model has a reinforced holster mouth for easy reholstering The snap-straps use a one way snap for additional security and are designed to fit any belt width up to 1 3/4" wide.
The SOOT model works well worn in strongside or just behind the hip positions. Fitting both semi-automatics and revolvers, this model is available in both black and saddle brown leather.
Some frequently asked questions about the SOOT model:
I like this style but I prefer a model with a clip. Is this model available in a clip-on version?
Yes, it is. That model is called the Don Hume H715M W/C (with W/C meaning "With Clip), and it can be seen here.
How secure are the straps?
Hume uses a one way snap on both of the loops for added security.
I like the snap straps better than a clip, but does Don Hume make a snap loop model with a bodyshield?
Yes, they do and it's called the PCCH. Hume actually markets the PCCH as their top of the line IWB holster and it does feature snap straps and a bodyshield. You can find it by clicking this link.
I didn't see my pistol listed in the dropdown menu for this model. Will Don Hume make something custom for me?
Unfortunately, Don Hume is a production holster maker and they don't do any custom work at all. If your pistol isn't listed in the dropdown menu, then Don Hume most likely isn't making a holster for it.
Can I wear this holster on the outside of my belt instead of the inside?
Sorry but you can't. IWB holsters like the SOOT model won't properly function when worn outside the waistband. You are far better off purchasing an actual holster made to be worn on the belt.
Is this holster made to fit a pistol with a tactical light attached?
Unfortunately, Don Hume does not currently offer this holster model in a version to fit any handgun with a weapon light or tactical light mounted.

Great Holster
I have two of these holsters one in brown and one in black. They are extremely easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this holster to anyone looking for an excellent IWB holster.

This is my 3rd DON HUME H715M SOOT SNAP ON IWB HOLSTER
I really like the holster. While this is my 3rd purchase of the this holster I am more impressed with the company. Brad bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. You will not find a company that has better customer service. Some companies may equal the service but NONE will exceed Gunner's Alley customer service. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Good Holster, Great Price, OUTSTANDING SERVICE!
I ordered this to hold me over until my custom holster arrives. As many know, custom holsters take WEEKS to arrive. Turns out this item, while on sale, was out of stock. When I called Gunner's Alley to let them know I was merely ordering this one to have something ASAP, Brad stepped up. Brad communicated with Don Hume and had they direct ship the holster to me from the warehouse/factory! The holster itself is nice. The leather seems solid and there is adequate retention. While it doesn't "pop" when drawn, it does stand up to being held by the holster, turned upside down, and shaken several times. In fact, I cannot get the weapon out of the holster without gripping the handle and pulling it out. I've ridden my motorcycle with this at 4:30-5 o'clock and it keeps everything well. The snaps are solid and only open from the top-down. That is, the snaps cannot be undone by the belt or by being pulled in a horizontal manner. The inside was a little rough. However, prior to putting my weapon in it and risking the finish being scratched, I took 1500 then 2000 grit sand paper to the rough patches. Then, I put my weapon in the thick plastic bag it came with and holstered it overnight. The only real down side I see is that there isn't a sweat guard. But I believe there is a model that offers that. For what I paid, $48.50 shipped, I have no complaints and will probably continue to use this after my custom holster arrives. I would definitely buy it again, if I had to do it all over again.

Great holster
The holster looks and feels good. The leather could be a little thicker, but a great ccw holster for the money.

Great holster
Great quality. The holster makes the gun fit inside like a glove. The snaps allow for the holster to be quickly attached or removed. Bottom line is, great product for the low price and is worth the wait of it being made.
