Some frequently asked questions about the H721-OT model:
#1 - Is this model made in a version with a thumb break for added retention?
Yes, it is and that model is called the Don Hume H721-TB. It's the exact same holster model with an added thumb break. You can read more about that model by following this link.
#2 - What's a "bodyshield"?
A bodyshield is part of the holster that offers a protective barrier between you and the weapon. They vary holster model to model. If you aren't sure about any other holster related terms used in the description above, consider having a look at our list of commonly used gun holster definitions.
#3 - Can I still get a good grip on the handgun with a bodyshield?
Absolutely. The bodyshield is designed for added comfort and won't interfere with the draw or grip in any way.
#4 - If I was interested, could I also wear this holster as a cross draw holster?
Unfortunately, no as the cant angle is wrong. This holster is designed to be worn on the strongside of the belt. Using clock terminology, this would be the 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock, or 4 o'clock positions on the waist.

DON HUME H721OT BELT HOLSTER for 3" J frame S&W
Purchased this holster (H721OT) for a S&W M-60 3" . I like Don Hume holsters and have several. For field & CCW I have same model holster for a K frame 4" and wanted the same carry & draw for this smaller J frame. A well made leather holster with fine brown finish. This is my first purchase from Gunnersalley.com and I found the website to be easy to use, very detailed, and GA offers an excellent price. Shipping and delivery were VERY quick. Fully satisfied with product AND service.

Best so far.
I did not rate it 5 stars because I have not tried all holsters out there for the Ruger LCRx, however, this is the best so far. I have tried several of the better known brands, (DeSantis, etc.) and all so far fit the gun fine, but tend to flop around while walking at a normal pace. The flopping around is anoying and is a clear indicator that a firearm is on my hip to the casual observer. This holster does very little moving with my light weight revolver. I am a big guy, 5'10" 275 and thus do not get a very firm grip on my waist with a belt. My size is part of the issue, but I still want the firearm to be steady while I move around. This holster does that. The firearm fits perfectly. The leather is stiff and thin, two qualities I like.

Outstanding gun leather
Fantastic holster. I use it for my Kimbet Ultra Carry II. Excellent fit and all day comfort. This the BEST holster I've found for 1911 3" barrel. Buy it .....you won't be disappointed

Great, inexpensive, OWB leather holster.
This holster carries my Glock 36 very snugly, high, and tight against my body at the 4:00 position. It is an excellent concealment holster when wearing a jacket, sweater, or untucked shirt. It is very easy to draw from after it is properly broke in. It is smaller and more comfortable than my IWB holster that I still wear with a tucked in shirt. Great holster at a great price. Delivery was two days.

Very nice
While nicely made, a little stiff for my Colt officer. Been using it for several weeks now and a little better, When I tighten my belt, it tightens the pistol in the holster which makes it hard to draw.
