Glock 48

The Glock 48 was first introduced in January 2019 and was marketed as a slimmer, single-stack 9mm pistol designed for concealed carry. Since the Glock 48 is basically a single version of the immensely popular Glock 19, the G48 is noticeably thinner than the G19. How much thinner? The 48 has an overall width of 1.10 inches compared to the Glock 19, with an overall width of 1.26 inches. While the .16 of an inch difference may not seem like much on paper, it's considerably thinner in real life for a carry gun.

As the Glock G48 is a single stack model, the magazine capacity is reduced to 10 rounds or a total capacity of 10+1. The thinner frame and reduced magazine capacity compared to the G19 also mean a reduction in overall weight. The G 48 weighs in at 20.74 ounces unloaded, which is nearly three ounces less than the Glock 19.
