Product Description
Gunner's Alley Gun Belts
Although it is often overlooked, the gun belt is a big part of the foundation needed to comfortably carry a holstered pistol. The Gunner's Alley gun belts are specifically designed to support the weight of a holstered handgun, spare magazine, flashlight, handcuff case, etc without sagging.
Materials
The Gunner's Alley gun belts are made of two layers of 6-7 oz. bull hide. Bull hide is denser, stronger, and more durable than cowhide. As a result, a bull hide gun belt is much less likely to stretch out over time like a comparable cowhide gun belt will. The belts are stitched with a commercial grade, heavy duty nylon thread designed to last. The buckles used are a high quality, low profile type designed to allow the buckled belt to lay as flat as possible. The buckles are available in either brass, nickel, or matte black. The buckles themselves are interchangeable, and attach to the belt via a set of chicago screws.
Craftsmanship
First and foremost, these belts are custom made by hand, one at a time. The outer layer of bull hide is submersion dyed (versus spray dyeing) for maximum color retention over time. The inner layer is left a natural bull hide color, to prevent any dye from potentially bleeding on to your clothes. All exposed belt edges are hand-slicked to a smooth finish, sealed, and then dyed black. The belt keepers (also called the tongue retention strap) are double stitched.
Turnaround Time
Most custom belt manufacturers take anywhere from 3-6 months to produce a gun belt of this quality. We can typically have one of our custom made gun belts completed to your specifications in about 60 days.
These belts are available in the following four colors with either a brass, black, or nickel buckle:

These belts can be made to fit a waist size from 29" all the way up to 70". Any size between 49" and 59" inches costs an extra $10.00., sizes over 60 inches cost and extra $20. If your waist size decreases, you can send the belt back to us to have it sized down for $20.00.
Sizing
IMPORTANT - As these are custom made on an as ordered basis, please take the time to size the belt in the manner specified below. DO NOT ORDER YOUR PANTS SIZE! Your current pant size is not an accurate measure of your waist, so please don't use that figure.
Sizing can be done in one of two ways:
- Measure a belt you have now from the FAR end of the buckle to the hole you use most often (to the nearest inch). This will PROBABLY be about two inches larger than your waist or pants size. That number is the size you need to order.
- If you don't have an existing belt to measure, use a cloth measuring tape. Run the tape through the belt loops on your pants, snug it up, and then round to the nearest inch.
- We size our belts from the outside edge of the buckle to the middle hole. For example, a size 38 belt will measure 38 inches from the outer edge of the buckle to the middle hole of the belt (as illustrated below).
Many of our customers use the same belt for IWB carry and every day wear, whether they are carrying a holstered pistol or not. If this is what you have in mind, and you carry IWB often enough, and if the measurement is significantly different (2 inches or more), you can order a belt IN BETWEEN the two measurements. If you carry IWB every day, measure with your IWB holster on. If you don't carry IWB at all, measure normally as described above. We also know many people (including ourselves) who simply let their belt out one notch when they carry IWB. We also know others that tighten their belt when they carry IWB - there is no right way, it is a personal choice.
Belt Return/Exchange Policy
This is a custom made product to your specifications, and as a result it is non-refundable. All Gunner's Alley belts are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from purchase. (This does not cover abuse.) If you receive a belt with a defect in materials or workmanship, please contact us via phone or email immediately so we can take care of the issue for you.
Please measure carefully. This is a custom made belt to your specifications. If we send you the size belt you ordered and you receive a belt that is too short or too long, it can be exchanged for a new size for a re-stocking fee of $40. Again, please measure carefully and feel free to call us if you have any questions on how to measure, we will be glad to help you.
Belts ordered with an internal stiffener or a velcro liner option are not returnable or eligible for exchange. If you are interested in one of these options, please follow the measuring instructions above carefully to ensure you receive the correct size. We will be glad to help you, so please feel free to contact us via phone or email.
Pricing
1 1/4" - $69.00 - This width is an excellent choice to wear with a suit or dress slacks. The belt will provide enough stability to carry your weapon and other personal items (extra mag, cell phone, etc.).
1 1/2" - $79.00 - If there is a "standard" width for a gun belt, this is it. It provides excellent stability and support for a holstered firearm and all associated gear. It will also fit through the loops of jeans and most pants with no issues. It is the one we recommend the most.
1 3/4" - $89.00 - A good choice for carrying a really heavy handgun all the time, or if you are looking for a more "casual" look. This belt will work with most jeans, and many holsters feature 1 3/4" belt slots (but you may want to check your holster to be sure).

Great gun belt
After over 25 years as a plain clothes investigator I have burned through many belts, to include Hellweg and Bianchi. This belt looks great with jeans or slacks and, over the last 60 days I have worn it, shows almost no wear from carrying G22, mags and cuffs. This is the best belt I have owned and would recommend it to any person who wears a handgun on a daily basis.

Retired NCSHP Director of Training ...always go armed with some type of firearm whether IWB or other. Found Gunnersalley on line, called the office then visited the location and met Brad. Great experience! We discussed my needs then he measured me for proper fit. I ordered (2) 1 1/5 belts. Belts delivered on time. Both belts are top quality and should last until time is no more for me. The top quality craftsmanship is unmatched. I have spent years evaluating and purchasing uniform equipment for practical use, durability, cost and appearance. To potential customers reading this review ...don't hesitate purchasing Gunnersalley equipment. My quick assessment : Honest, Professional Reliable, Top Quality business. By far, there is no finer or better made gun belt available!
Over the many years of carrying a concealed full size firearm, I have had to use many gun belts. They all claimed to be "the best"! Most of the time, I carry a Glock Model 20 in 10 mm. This is a full size duty weapon that has a 15 round magazine. Loaded with fifteen 180 grain hollow points, the Model 20 is a considerable weight-load and consequently, requires a well-constructed and fully functional gun belt that can carry the weight of the Model 20 without sagging or pulling away from your body. The Gunners Alley Gun Belt gets the job done better than any gun belt I have ever used, period!! Do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to buy one of their belts! Take it from me, do not look any further, you will not be sorry!! Joe C. Las Vegas, NV

Sturdy!
This custom made belt is strong & classy; enough to look dressy and support any belt-carried firearm I have experienced. Mine routinely carries a couple full-size 1911s (with 8-round mags so I have 8+1) as well as a Glock 30 (also 45ACP, if you're not familiar with Glocks) with an extended mag (13+1) as well as a Glock 22 (40 S&W) with extended mag, giving me 17+1. That's pretty substantial weight in ammunition. Yes, I'm bigger than many which allows me to hide decent size guns with plenty of ammo in those extended magazines. I would definitely recommend this belt as well as Gunner's Alley for great products as well as good, quick service.

One Great Belt
This is the 3rd belt I've bought from Gunners Alley. I first purchased brown and black belts some 15 years ago. I finally had to replace the black one because I wore it much more often. The stitching gave out where my holster attached to the belt. I will find a saddle shop to fix it. Should be able to get another 15 years out of it. Finish on the old belts is very good after all these years. The new belt looks great. Holds it's shape and has a great finish. Very well constructed belt. Delivery was on time with no troubles.

Second purchase
This is a second purchase in a different color. Very pleased with the quality.

Great gunbelt!
I was a little skeptical about my need for a dedicated gunbelt. As soon as i used it with a hybrid IWB holster, I was sold. As with everything that Gunner's alley sells, it is a quality product. If you are about to order, pay attention to the measuring instructions. If you do, you cannot go wrong. I will buy another at some point.

Great Gun Belt
Well, I read the description of the belt and said let me give it a try. The belt is stiff and beefy and I thought it may be uncomfortable. Wrong, it fit extremely well and fully support s the weapon. I like it enough to order another in a different color.
