MTR Custom Belt Scabbard Holster
The Scabbard is MTR Custom's interpretation of a classic holster design. This design has been around for generations, with many holster makers offering a version of this timeless classic. The combination belt loop and slot system allow the gun to be pulled tightly into the body, offering very good concealment. This model rides tight to the body at about belt level. It is not an extreme high ride holster, so drawing and re-holstering are easy, quick, and comfortable.
MTR Custom's Scabbard design is made from 6 to 7 ounce A-Grade premium bull hide leather, and is hand made in the USA. It features a reinforced mouth that allows for one handed re-holstering, while the double row stitching ensures durability.
The Scabbard features belt slots that will fit any belt up to 1.75" wide and has slight boning to enhance weapon fit and holster beauty. The MTR Custom Belt Scabbard is custom fitted to the specific weapon ordered and features a slight forward cant for better concealment.

Very Nice Holster.
Purchased for my Sig 1911 Nightmare Carry, Very good workmanship, fit and finish. Excellent fit (Sigs have a side addition that makes them thicker than standard 1911's.) yet after the "plastic sizing" treatment fit is excellent, cant' say what it will be five years from now, but excellent now. Also use it for my Kimber Pro, again fit is excellent with that firearm. Would recommend

Very pleased
Not many holsters available for my discontinued pistol but this one fits it perfectly. If you bought one of the CHP trade-in S&W 4006TSW pistols, this is an excellent holster for it. The 4006 is very heavy compared to aluminum or polymer framed guns but this holster made carrying it a non-issue. I haven't had it long enough to see how long it will stand-up to daily use over an extended period but it appears to be very high quality so my expectations are high.

Received the holster and was very impressed. The overall quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. Fit and finished are superb. The holster truly conforms to the gun and holds its shape extremely well & seems like it will withstand years of use.

Fine Holster
I had mine custom made from Tiger Shark to fit a 4 inch Ruger SP101. It looks great and fits the pistol like a glove. I will buy more custom holsters from MTR in the future. Awesome looking and the fairly quick delivery times. Maybe elephant next time.....

Love it
I like everything about this holster, except...it became loose on the gun after only a few weeks of wear. Snug like I like when new, no need for the plastic bag trick when they're really tight. Holding the holster upside down, my pistol easily falls out. Still I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. I never saw another review with this issue, so I consider this to be a rare problem.

Very good Askins Avenger style holster
Ordered this holster for a Browning HiPower. Very quick delivery time. Holster shows attention to detail and fits like a glove. With a good gun belt you don't know the pistol is there but presentation is quick and sure. I totally recommend this holster.

Outstanding holster/weapon fit
Holster arrived and the weapon had to be forced into the holster. Using the plastic bag on the gun in the holster overnight provided the perfect fit. Weapon is retained when holster is held upside down, but the presentation from the belt is fast and accurate. worn on the proper 1.5" purpose built gun belt the belt/trouser top do not move when weapon is drawn. This is my second MTR holster (for a Walther PPS) my first (for a Sig 227) are both top notch leather and will undoubtedly outlast me. Only problem I have is they are both so good, I have trouble deciding which one to wear.
