MTR Custom Dual Carry Holster
Traditionally, most gun holster models are designed to be worn one particular way or style, and that’s about it. In the past, we’ve seen holster models that were advertised as being able to be carried or used in more than one style (like a holster that works as both a SOB and as a strongside belt holster). In most cases, those holsters don’t perform equally well in the different styles. For example, most IWB holsters don’t work all that well being worn outside the waistband or vice-versa.
However, our opinion changed when we tested out the MTR Custom Dual Carry holster. This model basically took the popular IWB style of the MTR Slimline Tuckable holster and made a few changes so the holster can be worn either OWB or IWB. While this is really nothing new in this industry, the difference here is the Dual Carry actually works pretty well in both scenarios.
Like most of the MTR line, the Dual Carry is also crafted from top quality bullhide leather and top of the line American made hardware. The holster features a reinforced mouth for easy reholstering, and the belt slots are designed to fit a belt up to 1.75" wide.
Converting the Dual Carry from IWB to OWB is pretty simply. Just unscrew the attachments holding the metal clips on, and it’s ready to go as an outside the waistband holster. As an added bonus, in the IWB mode, this model can worn either untucked or with the shirt tucked in over it (called tuckable carry).
The Dual Carry is ideal for customers who want the ability to carry both IWB or OWB, but don’t want to buy 2 different holsters to do it.

MTR CUSTOM DUAL PURPOSE HOLSTER
Excellent holster. The craftsmanship is really good, stitching, leather type and design our superb. I use this holster for my Sig P938. Excellent retention and is really comfortable when driving. I’m wearing the holster IWB at five and 6 o’clock position. Definitely one of the best host I own, which is my third one from Gunnersalley. I will recommend this product.

A steal at twice the price
This holster was clearly handmade around my exact revolver. The thumb break side of the retention strap is reinforced with steel. That way, when you use the thumb break the leather doesn't just fold over, it unsnaps the thumb break. This is just one out of many features that they went above and beyond to make this holster perfect. The thumb break was tight at first. But, I followed the instructions on the QR code with the product and now it's perfect. If you're a first-time holster buyer, be sure to scan the QR code to correctly break in your holster. There was things that I didn't know that I'm glad I do now. I am definitely a customer for life. This holster is a steal it twice the price.

Perfect
This holster is perfect in almost every way. Thick leather, very sturdy. Fits my FN-509 Tactical with TLR-7 and Vortex Viper perfectly. My only complaint, if I had to make one, is not enough drop down boxes to get all the options. A thumb break would have been nice, but the options boxes only allowed 3 things. Overall, I would definitely order from here again. It's worth the wait.
