MTR Custom Dual Carry Holster
Traditionally, most gun holster models are designed to be worn one particular way or style, and that’s about it. In the past, we’ve seen holster models that were advertised as being able to be carried or used in more than one style (like a holster that works as both a SOB and as a strongside belt holster). In most cases, those holsters don’t perform equally well in the different styles. For example, most IWB holsters don’t work all that well being worn outside the waistband or vice-versa.
However, our opinion changed when we tested out the MTR Custom Dual Carry holster. This model basically took the popular IWB style of the MTR Slimline Tuckable holster and made a few changes so the holster can be worn either OWB or IWB. While this is really nothing new in this industry, the difference here is the Dual Carry actually works pretty well in both scenarios.
Like most of the MTR line, the Dual Carry is also crafted from top quality bullhide leather and top of the line American made hardware. The holster features a reinforced mouth for easy reholstering, and the belt slots are designed to fit a belt up to 1.75" wide.
Converting the Dual Carry from IWB to OWB is pretty simply. Just unscrew the attachments holding the metal clips on, and it’s ready to go as an outside the waistband holster. As an added bonus, in the IWB mode, this model can worn either untucked or with the shirt tucked in over it (called tuckable carry).
The Dual Carry is ideal for customers who want the ability to carry both IWB or OWB, but don’t want to buy 2 different holsters to do it.

perfect fit
bought this holster for my new ruger gp 100 7 shot. The fit is perfect, and the thumbbreak was very tight but it is working in. I have not worn the holster owb yet, only iwb and let me tell you it is amazing. I have worn a paddle holster for 10 years and this is far better. The workmanship is excellent and the turn around time was a lot faster that projected, I have a couple more weapons that want to get holsters for and I will look no further.. You have to look no further for price, workmanship and communications!!!!!!!t

Bought this holster for my SIG P229R. Very impressed with the leather and stitching. Wasn't expecting the excellent quality. Outstanding.

Quality holster
I ordered this holster for my H&K P30LS, with the S (safety switch) I am very limited to IWB selections for this particular handgun. Firstly, the product shipped much faster than expected which is always a plus. At first glance, it’s a beautifully made holster. I was a bit leery with holster in hand checking the fitting, it was really snug to the point where I had to cram it in a bit and had to really tug to get it out. Without the holster being attached to myself, it seemed as though it’d be too hard to pull out than I prefer, which also will damage the finish on my pistol. That being said, HK was a terrible finish and doesn’t take much to wear down, but will cerakote it. Obviously it’s a leather holster and after time they break in pretty good, but once I attached it to my gun belt (Bigfoot gun belt) which I had to cram through the OWB holes due to the thickness of the belt... when bolstering and unholstering it was a really snug fit but came out flawlessly. I have only had the holster for a couple of weeks and have only had s few chances to carry due to being at work in the oilfield. From what I’ve seen and my experience with numerous different brands and materials of holsters, this holster is built to last and is an excellent purchase. I will go on a limb and rate it 5 stars just for the fact that I have limited use on it but believe it to be that great. I would hate to give it any less without any other reason than not having using it enough yet.

Versatile design and high quality
I'm very pleased with this holster for a Springfield EMP. The quality of the leather is superb and the craftsmanship is excellent. The design provides just the sort of versatility that I had been looking for: OWB, IWB, tucked or untucked - all in a single holster. The carry angle and height work well for drawing and are comfortable for carry even while seated in a vehicle. No break-in was needed: the holster fit perfectly with ideal retention for my pistol right out of the package.

Good Quality
I haven't carried it yet, but the quality and craftsmanship of the holster appear to be excellent. My H & K VP9 has an added Crimson laser sight, which made the holster a custom build, but the fit is perfect. I would have preferred that the holster be lined, but that wasn't an option. My only complaint thus far would be the length of time from order to delivery - almost 10 weeks. The manufacturer must be really busy.

Perfect holster for the Sig Sauer P320 RX
Last fall, I purchased the Sig Sauer P320 RX pistol. I quickly learned the choices for holsters for the P320 RX are limited. I found this holster and ordered it. It is a well made holster and my P320 RX fits perfectly. Previously, I carried a Bersa mini-FireStorm, which feels heavy and bulky compared to the P320 RX in this holster. The light weight of the P320 RX and the snug fit of this holster I find myself touching it because I can't believe it is still there. I need to stop touching it before it becomes a habit. The turn around on the holster was about what they promised. I had no problem with the order or the billing. I had no problem breaking in the leather. It is clear that the folks who made this holster know what they are doing and have made a few holsters in their shop. I'm am completely satisfied.

well made - great fit for my Kimber micro w/ laser grips - will be my primary concealed carry holster

Comfortable and secure IWB
Much more comfortable than my blade style 100% kydex holster, and it distributes the weight better for my heavy-ish USPC 45. Still needs some break-in, it's a bit tight, but that's to be expected. All in all, I'm digging it and it's my primary IWB holster for the foreseeable future.

Awesome custom leather holster
Guess I'm old school...I prefer a sturdy leather holster over the newer Kydex type. This holster really fits the bill. Thick bullhide with heavy stitching custom fit to my Glock 30s with a Crimson Trace 206 laser. Gun fits securely, rides well on my belt and can be worn either IWB or OWB. I love this thing. Highly recommended.
