MTR Custom Dual Carry Holster
Traditionally, most gun holster models are designed to be worn one particular way or style, and that’s about it. In the past, we’ve seen holster models that were advertised as being able to be carried or used in more than one style (like a holster that works as both a SOB and as a strongside belt holster). In most cases, those holsters don’t perform equally well in the different styles. For example, most IWB holsters don’t work all that well being worn outside the waistband or vice-versa.
However, our opinion changed when we tested out the MTR Custom Dual Carry holster. This model basically took the popular IWB style of the MTR Slimline Tuckable holster and made a few changes so the holster can be worn either OWB or IWB. While this is really nothing new in this industry, the difference here is the Dual Carry actually works pretty well in both scenarios.
Like most of the MTR line, the Dual Carry is also crafted from top quality bullhide leather and top of the line American made hardware. The holster features a reinforced mouth for easy reholstering, and the belt slots are designed to fit a belt up to 1.75" wide.
Converting the Dual Carry from IWB to OWB is pretty simply. Just unscrew the attachments holding the metal clips on, and it’s ready to go as an outside the waistband holster. As an added bonus, in the IWB mode, this model can worn either untucked or with the shirt tucked in over it (called tuckable carry).
The Dual Carry is ideal for customers who want the ability to carry both IWB or OWB, but don’t want to buy 2 different holsters to do it.

Awesome product
100% Happy with this holster. Was at first skeptical of purchasing one online. But the gunners alley team made a unbelievably holster for my S&W K frame it is the most comfortable all day wear I ever had. Thanks again ALL

The Holster to Own
Absolutely love my new holster. My Berretta Cougar fits perfect, snug but not too tight. The belts clips are just right amount of tension, tight enough to hold the holster to the belt but not impossible to maneuver into a comfortable position like other, cheaper holster I’ve owned. High quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price is why I highly recommend this excellent product.

Best leathet holster
Im currently carring a beretta96a1 for winter carry in CO. That is not a small pistol by any means. This holster is unbelievably comfortable for how large this pistol is. I carry at the 330/4 o'clock position. I can move, sit, and stand maintaining full range of motion. This holster is something i would recommend!

Not Custom for my Pistol
It was apparent that the holster I received was originally made for a standard 1911 handgun. I could tell because the dust cover was short and had been re-contoured to "fit" my full rail 1911/2011 handgun. I was expecting a holster specifically made for my pistol, however, I was hoodwinked. The holster looks good, but was not made for my gun. If you didn't have a mold for my particular handgun, you should have told me and allow me to make the decision to accept a holster modified to fit my gun. Very dissatisfied.

Great quality, comfortable to wear
Great looking, quality leather, reinforced opening, with the ability to wear IWB or OWB. Easily 1 of the best holsters I've seen. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a holster and are not sure if you want IWB or OWB. This is the holster for you.

MTR custom duel carry
just a excellent fit inside the waist band or out, pistol retention is snug, but I'am sure with a little break in will be perfect, I switch back and forth depending on season, a cold weather jacket will hide my preferred OWB carry just fine, warm weather IWB carry makes it much easier to conceal, this holster meats both demands very well. this is a generational holster, meaning it will last your son a lifetime too, high quality product, I just ordered another as a gift for a friend

Quality and Comfort
This holster is the only one I have found that is comfortable to wear, I can easily sit and drive with it on and do not even notice it. I like the robust construction and ease of re holstering. Fits my Sig P227 like a glove and puts it right where I need it.
