MTR Custom Bullhide Gun Belts
The MTR Custom bullhide gun belts are specifically designed to support the added weight of a loaded handgun for concealed carry or range use.
This belt is manufactured from 2 layers of of 6-7 oz. bull hide that are cross-grained (each strip is put together with the grain of the leather going in a different direction). The cross-graining process helps reduce stretching that can occur over time, and increases the life and functionality of the belt. Since bullhide is a more dense and more durable material compared to cowhide, a bull hide gun belt is much less likely to stretch out over time compared to a cowhide belt.
The belts are stitched with a commercial grade, heavy duty nylon thread designed to last. The buckles are American made, square design, and available in one of 4 material/color options:
- Brass
- Nickel
- Antique Brass (only available for 1.5" belts)
- Brushed Nickel (only available for 1.5" belts)
These belts can be made to fit a waist size from 29" all the way up to 70". Any size between 49" and 59" inches costs an extra $10.00., sizes over 60 inches cost and extra $20. If your waist size decreases, you can send the belt back to us to have it sized down for $20.00.
Sizing
IMPORTANT - As these are custom made on an as ordered basis, please take the time to size the belt in the manner specified below. DO NOT ORDER YOUR PANTS SIZE! Your current pant size is not an accurate measure of your waist, so please don't use that figure.
Sizing can be done in one of two ways:
- Measure a belt you have now from the beginning of the belt itself (not counting the buckle) to the hole you use most often (to the nearest inch). This measurement will PROBABLY be larger than your waist or pants size. The MTR belts are only available in even sizes so if your measurement is an odd size, round up to the next available even size.
- If you don't have an existing belt to measure, use a cloth measuring tape. Run the tape through the belt loops on your pants, snug it up, and then round to the nearest even number.
A note about IWB carry - The MTR belts use a 6 hole configuration so, by default, the belt offers a fair amount of room outside the main measurement for tightening up or loosing the belt. However, if you are carrying dedicated IWB, we suggest either using a measurement based on the IWB holster position on the old belt, or adding just a bit to the measurement to allow for the added width of an IWB holster.
Belt Return/Exchange Policy
This is a custom made product to your specifications, and as a result it is non-refundable. As such, please measure carefully. If we send you the size belt you ordered and you receive a belt that is too short or too long, it can be exchanged for a new size for a re-stocking fee of $40. Again, please measure carefully and feel free to call us if you have any questions on how to measure, we will be glad to help you.
Pricing
1 1/4" - $63.00 - The smallest standard width, and popular to wear with a suit or dress slacks.
1 1/2" - $68.00 - The most popular width as it provides excellent stability and support for a holstered firearm and all associated gear, while fitting through the loops of jeans and most pants with no issues.
1 3/4" - $78.00 - A good option if you carry a large or heavy handgun. A quick note that the 1 3/4" model may not fit the belt loops of all pants.

Great Quality Belt
Superior materials and Excellent craftsmanship. A possible improvement would be a wider, heavier belt end keeper loop but all around a great, heavy duty belt.

!.75" and good craftsmanship.
My problem is the sizing. You need to forget there measurement instructions and go with your normal belt size. There instructions told me to order a 36" when I wear a 38". should have got the 38." The buckle seems a bit low-end, but that's no big deal. It i secured with screws and not snaps, which adds strength. Using it with the dual mag holder. It's good quality and that is extremely important to me.
