MTR Custom Pancake Slide Holster
The pancake slide is a traditional design created by the late Roy Baker over 60 years ago. Baker's idea was to use two pieces of leather sandwiched together for a holster instead of Askin's Avenger style of holster that was created using a single piece of leather folded over like a taco.
The MTR Custom pancake slide holster is designed for use as a strong side belt holster that can be worn on the hip (at the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock for lefties) or just behind the hip. The holster has an open bottom so it will fit assorted handguns from the same family or style. For example, a Pancake Slide model for the Glock 26, will also fit the Glock 19 and Glock 17.
Manufactured from Grade A premium 6 to 7 ounce bull hide leather, the Pancake Slide model works for a number of uses including:
- Concealment
- Range use
- General carry
The holster attaches to the belt using two belt slots located on the front and back of the holster. The belt slots will fit any belt up to 1.75" wide. We have found this holster to pull the gun in fairly tight to the body. The Pancake Slide rides slightly above the belt line, so some refer to it as a "medium" height holster. The holster also has a slight forward cant, so drawing the weapon from a behind the hip or on the hip postion is easy and natural.
Like all MTR Custom holsters, the Pancake Slide model is custom fitted to the specific weapon ordered and features a slight forward cant for better concealment.

MTR Custom Pancake Belt Slide Holster
I bought this holster for my Ruger LCRx 3in. The fit is perfect and took only a day to break in the holster. The fit is flush and comfortable with my waist and I have no problem wearing it all day. Thanks gunnersalley!!

Great product, professional craftsmanship
Gunner's Alley puts out a great product. I recently received my custom made MTR pancake belt holster for my 32. Cal. Berretta Tomcat, It was a perfect fit. I was very pleased with my choice both in the maker, and the product they put out. I highly recommend this product for its quality, and comfort. Great concealment under any garment worn. quality leather. Hardware is....Meh
Got my holster in good enough time and am very happy with the overall product. The thumb break snap, however isn't up to the same quality. To save time and hassle I've replaced it with a true military spec snap and stud. I'm sure the defective snap was an oversight and like I said, the leather work is top notch. I'll have no reservations ordering from here again but sans thumb break.

Very effective holster
I have holsters from all the major makers. In the belt slide/pancake style. This one is my favorite. I like this style of holster because it tends to stay where you put it and minimize the print of the gun. This holster has more leather making the radius around your body smoother, thus reducing the print even further. It is very comfortable to wear. Only time will tell how it last, but given its construction, I think it should be one for the long term.

Excellent holster
This holster is for my Kimber Micro. I've paid twice as much for holsters that are no better. Very comfortable, quick break in, great concealment and retention is just right. After using many holsters for various guns, this is my favorite!

First class holster!
I purchased this holster for my Springfield XDs-9. It fir my pistol perfectly with just the right amount of snugness to secure the pistol. The leather and stitching were above excellent. I will be ordering this holster for my other pistols. I also want to mention the flow of communication from Gunner's Alley kept me apprised of the status of my order. Thanks for a great product!!!

Excellent
This is an excellent holster. Wanted something for my M&P bodyguard which I like to have with me at all times. The holster fit was as another reviewer stated good retention, but not to tight. The quality and look appears to be top notch. I received personal customer service through email. I appreciated a personal message in addition to the generated "we received your order...etc." .emails. I believe the expected lead time stated was 2-3 weeks. Ordered late on the 23rd, it shipped on the 3rd, delivered before noon on the 5th (I'm calling that 11 days)! Everything about this transaction was 5 stars start to finish. Thank you Gunner's Alley. I wear it daily so I will find out how durable it is.

impressive!
Just received mine today and couldn't be more impressed. Fits my Sig P938 with a Crimson Trace perfectly, with a great balance between great retention and smooth draw. None of the break-in routine necessary for other leather holsters. Time will tell how it holds up but for now I couldn't be more satisfied.

Finally a fit for a GLOCK 30s
Very nice holster, fits the Glock 30s like a glove. One of the most comfortable holster I have worn,(I have have tried many)and I often have it on 14 hours or more a day. Don't be fooled by the price, this is a nice holster and I will be looking at them for soem other models.
